Coffee Den
Coffee den is the Denver based front range community college coffee shop serving up delicious cold and hot roasted brews to college students and faculty. The coffee den is a place where you can kick back and relax with a hot cup of joe before or after class without having to go far. Challenge: The challenge was to design and develop a coffee shop brand that people would be excited to hang out at with friends or catch up on homework, while enjoying a freshly roasted cup of coffee or a scrumptious pastry from the bakery. We also wanted to achieve a brand that would attract a wide range of audiences from the 18 year old college student to the 49 year old professor. 1. Friendly 2. Warm 3. Modern 4. Gender Neutral Solution: I began our research of coffee shops, coffee images, words and ideas that communicated coffee. After sketching I developed thirteen different finished brand marks and distilled them down to five different logos to present.
